The 500 series features both 3 and 4 blade inside and outside frame tree spades. The most common 500 series spades are listed below, but Lemar offers other sizes.
- A 500 series Inside Frame Tree Spade are narrow compact spades built for maneuverability and will dig a 26″ – 34″ root ball. This spade is ideal for most deciduous and coniferous trees.
- A 500 series Outside Frame Tree Spade has an extra heavy-duty frame and are the shortest spades on the market! This spade has a large opening making them ideal for harvesting bushy trees and shrubs with a root ball range of 26″ – 30″.

The 1000 series has both 3 blade and 4 blade inside frame spades. This Series can dig root balls from 36″ – 42″. The most common 1000 series spades are listed below, but Lemar offers other sizes and configurations.
- The 3 blade tree spade boasts faster cycle times and they are designed for increased mobility, versatility, and maneuverability.
- The 4 blade tree spade is ideal for hard digging conditions. This open front design improves visibility, increasing production, and reduces stock damage.

The 2000 series tree spades have a 4 blade inside frame design. These spades feature a “Double-gate” locking system. Their heavy duty design includes thicker shovels, larger towers, and longer overlap to allow digging root balls from 44″ – 54″.
The most common 2000 series spades are listed below, but Lemar offers other sizes and configurations, including outside frame spades.

The Lemar 3000 series offer a 4 blade inside frame spade with 6″ solid steel frame and “Double-gate” locking system. It can dig root ball size range from 54″ – 58″ exerting 28,000 pounds of force per shovel.
The most common 3000 series spades are listed below, but Lemar offers other sizes and configurations, including outside frame spades.

The Lemar 4000 Series is designed for digging root balls of 60″ – 72″. The 4000 series tree spade features an extra strong shovel design, 6″ solid steel frame, and Lemar’s “Double-gate” locking system. This spade exerts 42,000 pounds of force per shovel.
